Vehicles in Germany's City Found Covered with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Roughly 50 automobiles have been marked with what seems to be blood from a person in the German town of Hanau close to Frankfurt, as reported by law enforcement.

Automobiles, exterior walls and mailboxes were vandalized, occasionally with prohibited symbols, they reported in a official communication.

Police state they were alerted late on Wednesday night, when a resident noticed that a car in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been smeared with a reddish liquid.

The fluid had been applied in the form of a Nazi symbol, they stated.

Police then found multiple other marked cars and house walls in the nearby vicinity.

Nazi symbols are prohibited in Germany under laws prohibiting the visible presentation of Nazi-era symbols.

Law enforcement report early analysis show the fluid was probably human bodily fluid.

"There is still no indication as to its origin; investigators are currently not informed of any physical harm in relation with the incident," they commented.

Local authorities stated they were trying "to resolve the case" and have asked to the residents for information.

A high-ranking political figure stated the vandalism left him stunned and had to be addressed quickly.

"This event affects the very heart of Hanau and revives the trauma of the right-wing terrorist attack in 2020," he stated on a platform, referring to the killing of nine individuals by a shooter targeting individuals of foreign heritage in February 2020.
